Here's what some kind people we've worked with had to say about us...
True leaders don’t need titles. They just lead. They can’t help it. And Charlotte is a born leader. Even when she’s trying not to be, she just has a way of getting people to follow her. It’s partly the tireless enthusiasm, partly the relentless optimism and the belief that anything can be made better. But it’s also the talent – she has a seemingly endless stream of great ideas. I may, on paper, be Charlotte’s boss but in real life things can often look very much the other way around
I really loved working with Charlotte and Danny, a great creative duo that no doubt are set for big things. Their approach is refreshing and incredibly insightful, to me, they represent what creatives should be like: ingenious, smartworking and with real passion for what they do - wanting to change the world. Beyond their obvious talent, they are good people, with a drive to nurture new talent and give back to the community. My kind of people. I am really sure that whatever path they take, they will always succeed. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for two young creative stars.
These two are bloody rare. From their early days in short trousers and bunches, they showed a level of magic and maturity beyond their years. Bristling, daily with passion, ideas and opportunities - all with an edge and easy to sell. They developed quickly, and I mean in months, to produce some of Iris’s best work. I really miss them.
Charlotte & Danny are legends. The perfect combination of talent, energy, a bit bloody minded and who always deliver the goods. Just knowing that they’ve been allocated your brief makes you do a little fist pump. If they’re not on your business, then the agency probably doesn’t like you very much
I first met Charlotte through chance. And sometimes, fate is the sweetest of allies when discovering bright talent. She began as a contributor for the Advertising Week Social Club with what all young people bring to this mix: energy, enthusiasm, drive. In Charlotte’s case, it has all been delightfully wrapped in a package of talent, creativity and one of the most electric personalities I have encountered in a long time. What I appreciate most about Charlotte is that she’s always game to give it a go. She is fearless and, coupled with all of these great attributes and curiosity, I look forward to seeing how her career (which will be a great one) will unfold. And wouldn’t you be smart to be part of that path?
I worked with Danny on the launch set of Shell Motorbike Stations which was shot in the Philippines. It was great working with him, Richard Seymour and David Petersen. Danny was the art director on set and knew exactly he wanted to get from the shoot but also covered off more than enough for extra bits. Would happily work with him, the team and iris again.
The Dragons, by far the most inspiring creative team I’ve worked with. Individually outstanding and together they are unstoppable. I’ve had the pleasure of mentoring Charlotte and Danny while working at iris and I genuinely I couldn’t of asked for more from a young creative team. Not that either of them need mentoring now, they have really stepped up into their roles as very confident and capable creatives. Together they are shaping the creative future of Iris London. They have been instrumental in the intern program at Iris, bringing through some very exciting young interns who have all gone on to either stay permanently or get snatched up by another agency. Some of the best work is coming from these young teams and Charlotte and Danny should be very proud to have been a big part of that, I certainly am. Everyone needs a couple of Dragons around.
I worked with Charlotte on a youth cultural project called My Culture My London. She is pure joy to work with: confident, articulate, conceptual, great at execution, knowledgable, tapped in, collaborative, able to take feedback....a true millenial master mind. I expect great things from her. She is one to watch!
Danny and I had the opportunity to travel to some far flung locations for various photoshoots. On each, Danny was in charge, knowing exactly what he wanted and would be hands on ensuring the outcome was exactly as desired. He was great with clients and made them feel like an active part of the shoot. It has been great to see Danny grow in confidence and expertise and I look forward to seeing him and Charlotte continue to succeed in the future. I would wholeheartedly recommend him and Charlotte to any agency in the future and hope our career paths will cross again soon.
Charlotte is a top writer, a great creative and a lovely person to boot. She always goes above and beyond to deliver great results - whether that’s an awesome idea with a surprising twist, a carefully crafted ad script or a harder working digital piece. She can also walk the talk and has no trouble presenting to even the most senior of clients or agency bosses. Charlotte is also an incredible team player. She can single handedly define an agency culture, build great rapport across disparate teams or guide and mentor junior or placement creatives - and often does all of the above at the same time. I have absolutely no doubt that she will be the boss of us all before long
Charlotte is undoubtedly one of the most talented creatives I’ve had the fortune to work with. She’s energetic and bursting with good ideas. Always getting to the heart of the problem and finding a very human way to solve it. Along with Danny Pallet she worked on many fast-paced innovation briefs for The iris Nursery, working on new product and service development as well as creative comms campaigns. She’s brilliant with clients and can add energy an spark to any creative workshop.
